A Improving Children's Self-Control Ability Through Group B Toilet Training Activities at PAUD Pancor Mas 1, North Lombok Regency
Abstract
This study aims to improve children's self-control skills through toilet training activities for group B children at PAUD Pancor Mas 1. The subjects of this study were group B children at PAUD Pancor Mas 1 with a total of 16, namely 6 boys and 10 girls. The research method used is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. Data was collected using the observation method as the main method, interviews and the documentation method as a complementary method. The results showed that there was an increase in children's self-control abilities through toilet training activities in group B. In the pre-classical completeness cycle it only reached 12.5%, in cycle I the children's self-control abilities increased by 37.5% to 50%, and in cycle II the child's self-control ability increased by 31.25% to 81.25%. This shows that there is an increase in the percentage of children's self-control abilities that are in the criteria of developing according to expectations (BSH) with a percentage of 81.25% having been achieved, meaning that most of the children are able to control themselves through toilet training activities at PAUD Pancor Mas 1, Monggalang Atas Village, Genggelang Village Ganga district, North Lombok regency.
